These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the NeuroClarity Sydney website and your engagement in psychological assessment services, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments.

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Use of our website

3. Booking and engagement of services

Appointments

  • Your appointment is not confirmed until we have provided written or verbal confirmation.

 

Intake information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during intake, including:

  • Medical and mental health history

  • Relevant background information

  • Consent forms as required

Failure to provide accurate information may impact the assessment process.

4. Fees and payment

Assessment fees

  • Fees are provided to you prior to commencing assessment.

  • Fees may vary depending on the type and scope of assessment required.

 

Payment terms

  • Payment is required as advised prior to or on the day of service unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.

  • We accept payment via bank transfer and online card payment.

 

Reports and documentation

  • Final assessment reports will not be released until full payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed.

5. Cancellation and non-attendance policy

Client cancellations

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

  • Late cancellations (within 24 hours) or non-attendance may incur a cancellation fee of up to the full session cost.

 

Clinician cancellations

If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer an alternative time.

 

6. Nature of psychological assessment

You acknowledge that:

  • Psychological assessment is based on information available at the time of evaluation.

  • Findings are based on clinical judgement, test results, and available history.

  • No assessment can provide absolute certainty in diagnosis.

  • Recommendations may change if new information becomes available.

 

7. Reports and third-party disclosure

Assessment reports are prepared for your use and for authorised recipients only.

With your consent, reports may be shared with:

  • Your GP, psychiatrist, or other treating professionals

  • Schools, employers, or support services

  • NDIS providers (where relevant)

 

We will not disclose your information without your consent unless required or authorised by law.

 

8. Confidentiality and privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how your information is collected, used, and stored.

9. Risk, safety, and duty of care

If, during assessment, we identify a serious risk of harm to you or others, we may be required to take steps to ensure safety, which could include:

  • Contacting a nominated emergency contact

  • Contacting relevant authorities or services

  • Making a mandatory report where legally required

 

We will inform you of this wherever possible.

10. Intellectual property

All materials on this website, including text, logos, and content, are the intellectual property of NeuroClarity Sydney unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify website content without our written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, NeuroClarity Sydney is not liable for:

  • Delays or interruptions in service beyond our control
